Frequently asked questions
Do I need a dedicated barcode scanner or handheld terminal?
No. Workers scan barcodes with their smartphone camera and PickFlow verifies each item against the order, so the phone replaces the handheld scanner. Nothing to buy and nothing to install: it runs in the mobile browser.
What about products without barcodes?
Products without a registered barcode can be checked off with a tap on the screen. Mixing barcoded and non-barcoded items in one order is fine.
Do warehouse workers need Shopify staff accounts?
No. Workers join from an invite link in their phone browser and never use up your Shopify staff account seats. Invite as many as you need (the Free plan includes up to 2 workers).
How far does the free plan go?
Up to 50 picks per month and 2 workers, with every feature included. There are no feature gates, so you can trial PickFlow on real shipping work.
Does PickFlow support bundles?
Yes. Bundles are automatically expanded into their components and listed as individual items on the pick list, and each component can be barcode-verified so nothing is left out of the box.
What languages are supported?
