COD refusals and unpaid orders erase revenue.
The most common setup among our stores is conditional COD hiding: drop cash on delivery for high-risk products like gift cards, or for high-value orders — with a single product tag.

Shopify can't branch payment methods natively.
"Different payment methods per product" or "per customer" is impossible with standard settings — territory even the Shopify Plus Checkout Editor alone can't reach.

Invoices and bank deposit, for approved customers only.
Show invoicing only to customers tagged "wholesale" or "net30", and hide it from everyone else. Gating payments behind a customer tag is the classic B2B setup.
